PROJECT 2: CITRUS JUICER! CLOSED FORM, ATTACHMENTS + TRIMMING WITH A CHUCK
With this lesson, we are getting into some serious details and tricky techniques. Citrus juice as I make them require you to understand how much clay you need for the two main components of this pot: the juicer and the basin. We will pull two different walls from one piece, create a secure closed form and add multiple attachments for the handle and juicer. This lesson will guide you through centering, trimming and functional alternations.

PROJECT 1: LIDDED FORM! CASSEROLE STYLE + INTRO TO TEXTURED RIB TOOLS
Let’s step it up a notch and make a multi-part project. This video includes the entire process of making one of my best-selling kitchen containers. We will start with two pieces of clay being centered and thrown into a base and lid, we will use a textured rib to create a unique finish, and then we will trim, alter and attach a nob to our lid. This one requires precision in both the throwing of the piece as well as the timing of the steps, so let’s get into it!
