In this series, I explore how one material is held by another. The bowl was thrown in premium-grade, translucent porcelain. Hand-painted and carved in a colourful abstract motif with crystal clear glaze on the interior. A modern eclectic pop to break up the sea of neutrals. Food-safe if needed, it sits snuggly in a removable solid Black Cherry base turned in the CLAY&ASH studio.
8" across and 7" tall with Black Cherry base.
Hand-wash as needed. As with all handmade ceramics, each pot is unique and variations will occur from piece to piece. This item is one-of-a-kind.
