Saman Sake Set - River Rock
This sake set is part of a collection inspired by the slow erosion of river rocks and the patterns made therein. Each item in this series is carved by hand and inlaid with various glazes to create either a tone-on-tone aesthetic or high contrast.
Thrown in lightly speckled white stoneware, with matte white glaze inlaid in the carved areas. The finish is super smooth and pleasing to handle.
The carafe holds a standard small bottle of sake (300ml), and the 2 cups hold approximately 50ml.
